This exhibition is a celebration of the astonishing beauty and diversity found in the animal world. Praxis Gallery seeks the submission of photographic works that showcase animals’ inner beauty, strength, character, resiliency, and wisdom. Compassionate images of companion animals, wild animals, farm animals, insects, and fish are all heartily welcomed.

In addition, (4) honorable mentions (2 in art and 2 in photo), will be featured and recognized on our website and join a growing community of vibrant and talented artists. We are opening a new Open Call!

For the next event we will set up a large exhibition that will host the works of dozens of artists.

Applications open today!

The rules are as follows:

The call is aimed at young photographers and graphic designers

You can send a maximum of 5 works each with name and surname, title of the works, any print sizes (50x70, 60x90, 90x200 cm) to the email: theplace.collab@gmail.com

Since we could involve more than 150 works, the exhibition does not have a predefined theme.

The last two years have been profound in our reconsiderations of self. The pandemic has transformed the way we behave, has affected our psyches, and made us examine what is most important in our lives. We discovered that everything is fleeting and temporary, ever changing, moving, and evolving. Transience comes in many forms and awareness of the transience of all things heightens appreciation of their beauty and evokes a gentle sadness at their passing.
