OPEN-CALL ARTBOX VR | Vision Art Fair Lisbon

We propose a virtual and immersive exhibition that invites you to discover the universe of contemporary art through virtual reality. An exhibition with total freedom of movement. A moment of fantasy in which the visitor is completely immersed in the dreamlike and pictorial universe of contemporary art, crossing different rooms where huge projections of works allow the visitor to feel completely immersed in the works created by the artists in a second plastic, sensorial, vibrant and unforgettable dimension. Applications are open from painting, mixed media, collage, video art, giclée artists, among others, to exhibit alongside the renowned artists who will be featured at Artbox VR, represented by São Rafael Galleries at this event.

#sophiespostcard 2024

#sophiespostcard has now raised over £82k for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in the memory of former pupil Sophie.

Can you help us reach our fundraising target of £100k by donating your original postcard artwork. The fourth auction will run during the summer of 2024, with the final days of the auction to be held on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2024. Artwork Deadline 24th May 2024.

#sophiespostcard is in memory of former pupil, Sophie Maria Taylor, who was cared for by The Royal Marsden but lost her life to cancer on 5th April 2017. All money raised goes directly to the charity and the project is entirely run by volunteers who are staff and friends of St Richard’s Catholic College.

"Ethereal Forms” - FREE Entry, $1,000 Award Competition

Presenting the inaugural " Ethereal Forms" international competition and online exhibition. Artists of all ages from around the world are invited to participate, with complete freedom in choosing their preferred media and style. The competition's theme is " Ethereal Forms,". Only artists whose works are selected as finalists will be required to pay a $35 participation fee. Finalists will have their artwork showcased online and advance to the final round of judging, where they will be considered for cash prizes, including the chance to win the grand prize of $1,000.
