OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS RECUP’ART 2020

COLLECTMET DELIVERIES shares food with people in need. And where food is essential we believe more is needed. To comfort people affected by the global crisis and to help struggling artists in these strange times, we are launching RECUP’ART : we invite all European artists to share their work and interact with a new audience, by adding their artworks to our food aid parcels. 

Thanks to the European Cultural Foundation’s Culture of Solidarity Fund, a production budget will be provided for artists and thanks to your art, we hope to provide comfort for the people who most need it.

The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize has an established reputation as the UK’s most important annual exhibition of drawing. The Prize gives artists the opportunity to show their work in a touring exhibition across the UK and win £17,000 in prizes.

2018 first prize winner Caroline Burraway said "This prestigious prize allows artists' work to reach a wide audience as it travels around the UK.”

2019 prize winner Penny McCarthy also described the Prize as “a career highlight”, adding that “Taking part in the shows is a fantastic professional opportunity – for anyone at any stage. The prize money and increased exposure are something that all artists need to make work.”

Reality and Art, a Call for Entries

Reality, Realism, Representation. Art is often about searching for and expressing reality, whether literally or conceptually.

This is a call for entries for a juried exhibition.  We are seeking works that are representational in both the traditional sense of being compelled to express what you see and reality as a conceptual sense of using the contemporary current environment as a reference. This environment of shifting and contradicting truths, denial of science, proliferation of ‘alternative facts,’ and manipulations of imagery makes understanding reality and truth an illusive undertaking. The artist’s striving to express and understand reality becomes more complicated with this shifting appropriation of what is mere perception and what is reality.

All mediums are accepted but must be able to be digitally represented. This is an opportunity to get creative in representing your artwork (physical or not) in the digital space.

"PEOPLE" ONLINE INTERNATIONAL JURIED EXHIBITION

Gallery Ring seeks artwork of People for an online competition. Traditional portraits to creative and experimental interpretations are welcome. 2D artwork including photography/digital is eligible. Many awards are available: Best In Show (cash prize, free-entry voucher and juror's comments), Diamond Award of Excellence, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald Awards, Crystal Awards of Merit and others. All winning artists receive a digital Award Certificate. Top winners also receive a special Award Page ideal for use in their portfolios and for sharing the news on social media and websites.
