New Visionary Magazine, Issue 16

New Visionary Magazine, a publication by Visionary Art Collective, features contemporary artists, exclusive interviews with art world professionals, and valuable art career resources. Based in New York City, Visionary Art Collective aims to uplift artists through magazine features, virtual exhibitions, podcast interviews, and mentorship programs.

We are seeking artists of all experience levels to highlight in our upcoming issue. Selected artists will receive a two-page spread, including a custom Q&A and professionally published images of their work.

Unexpurgated: Freedom in Form and Color

Unexpurgated: Freedom in Form and Color: This call is for art as a form of speech and expression, focusing on themes of personal truth, social commentary, identity, resistance and the uninhibited creative voice. Entry is open to all artists working in any media. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery from March 5 - 28, 2026. 
Deadline is November 8, 2025.

August PleinAir Salon Online Art Competition

The 15th Annual PleinAir Salon is an online art competition with 11 monthly cycles, and is open to a variety of mediums and styles. It’s not just for plein air painters! We invite a variety of top master artists, museum directors and gallery owners to judge each month. All monthly winners are automatically included in the Annual Competition where the Grand Prize winner receives $15,000 and has their painting featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine, the #1 representational art magazine at Barnes & Noble.

In addition to over $50,000 in ALL Cash Prizes, winners receive exposure and recognition through our various magazines, websites, newsletters and social media platforms.

She Carries the Sky: A Showcase of Contemporary Women Artists

She Carries the Sky is a virtual exhibition and print catalog dedicated to highlighting the dynamic talents of contemporary women artists from around the world. Juried by a distinguished juried panel of art world professionals including Ekaterina Popova, Alicia Puig, Marina Press Granger, and Liza Zhurkovskaya, we aim to create a vibrant and inclusive show that honors and amplifies the voices of women artists. 

Eligibility: Women artists of all backgrounds, disciplines, and experience levels are invited to submit their work for consideration. Must be 18+ to submit.
