Call for Art : Tapestry Gallery

 "Tapestry," an exhibition spotlighting how women and gender expansive individuals globally utilize textiles, embroidery, and clothing for resistance and cultural preservation. Seeking submissions from women/non-binary artists aged 15-35. Artworks of any medium accepted, including previous works or proposals for site-specific pieces. 

Selected pieces will be showcased in a pop-up gallery in NYC, with shipping and installation support provided as needed.

AIR_MCUBE International Artists Residency Program, organized by Gallery Mcube is an exceptional residency for artists in Nepal. This residency program offers a unique opportunity for artists, writers, photographers, media artists, sound artists, and composers to engage in diverse visual art practices such as painting, printing, sculpture, installation, performance art, multimedia, and more. Since its establishment in 2011, Gallery Mcube has been dedicated to hosting this non-profit residency program, providing artists with an enriching environment to explore their creativity.

R.A.R.O. BARCELONA AIR OPEN CALL – SPRING – SUMMER 2024

R.A.R.O Barcelona offers an itinerant Artists In Residence program that allows artists to create in the different studios that are part of the R.A.R.O. network in Barcelona.

Each artist can work in a minimum of two studios for the period of the residency, deepening in different techniques, according to the project that they are aiming to develop.
R.A.R.O. also offers spaces to work in Curatorial Projects, Theater and Performance arts, as well as ceramics and textile art.

During the residency, artists may show their work to the local public, get in contact with local artists, curators and collectors among other art related enthusiasts. At the end of the residency, artists would have the opportunity to show their final work either as an Open studio or exhibition.

"Order & Chaos" - FREE Entry, $1,000 Award Competition

Announcing the inaugural "Order & Chaos" international competition and virtual exhibition. Artists of all ages from around the world are invited to participate, with complete freedom in choosing their medium and style. Submissions should revolve around the central theme of "Order & Chaos" Entry is entirely free, and only those artists whose submissions are chosen as finalists will be required to pay a $35 participation fee. Finalists will have their artwork showcased in the online exhibition and will advance to the final jurying round in consideration for cash prizes and the opportunity to win the grand prize of $1,000. Awards will be granted to those whose works demonstrates the greatest level of creativity and artistry.  

Banff Artist in Residence: Early Career 2024

Overview

Banff Artist in Residence (BAiR) Early Career is an immersive program of studio practice, creative exploration, critical feedback, and mentorship for visual artists of all ages in the early stages of their careers.

Open to visual artists working across mediums, BAiR Early Career combines the artistic freedom of a self-directed residency with the supportive benefits of an organized program. As well as having the space to create, research, and experiment, participants are part of a community of emerging artists committed to developing and expanding their practice.

Artists have access to shared production facilities and knowledgeable staff who are available to provide technical support and assistance.
