The Exhibition title will be determined as the show comes together. We welcome feedback and suggestions from the artists.

Gallery B612 invites artists to submit works for our upcoming Black History Month Exhibition, celebrating the rich heritage, resilience, and contributions of the Black community in our local city of Seattle and beyond. This exhibition seeks to showcase diverse artistic expressions that honor Black history, culture, identity, and social impact.

Black & White Imprint

IMPRINT:  An impression; the mark left behind.  SMI, in celebration of Black History Month, encourages artists to submit works that evoke personal or collective memory, in both traditional and experimental print-making mediums.

JUROR: Onnie Strother is a visual artist, lecturer, and curator, born and raised in Newark NJ.  He is a former art and art history teacher with degrees in fine arts, art education and administration and supervision. He works in a variety of mediums with subjects derived from the media, popular music, political and social issues. He has received grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. His artwork can be seen in public and private collections and online.
