OPEN CALL TO DANCERS: [INSERT FEELING HERE] immersive art experience

We are looking for dancers (modern) to collaborate with us on a unique immersive art exhibition for two nights only on 26 & 27 February in the Old Biscuit Factory in Bermondsey. The performance is a conversation between the paintbrush of the artist and the movement of the body of the dancer to the music. Art, dance and music become entangled guided by the flow of the creation process.

The performance is part of a unique immersive art exhibition [INSERT FEELING HERE], an artist reflection on chasing our own emotions, the highs and the lows and making space for everything in between. Hidden away in the iconic Old Biscuit Factory, dive into the creative minds of 11 artists to experience art like never before.

Call for Applications - PlySpace Fall 2020 Residency (funded) - Muncie, Indiana

The Fall 2020 Residency Term Application is now open, with a deadline of March 1, 2020 at 11:59 PM.

PlySpace is an artist-in-residence program in Muncie, Indiana, that is dedicated to offering visual artists, writers, performers, designers, and other creative individuals time and space to investigate and pursue their own practices. Additionally, it serves as a platform for experimentation and provocation by catalyzing conversation and collaboration with various Muncie communities. PlySpace facilitates opportunities for residents to engage with the public through partnership and programming that is tailored to their area of interest. PlySpace is funded in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

MiXER collaboration - call for artists

MiXER is a unique and the only cross-disciplinary collaboration based residency, where artists from diverse art disciplines and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to engage, share methodologies and inspire each other. With the task of working in pairs artists are given the opportunity to regenerate their creative dynamism, exchange and develop new ideas; experiment with no fear of failure and thus assess their own artistic processes – learning valuable insights from other art forms.
