Open Call for Curator-in-Residence 2022-2023

Kunstraum is a community for artists by artists, aiming to redefine the way artists and curators collaborate. For the Curator-in-Residence 2022-23 we seek a self-starter with an innovative and ambitious mind who thrives from creative freedom, will assume a leadership role, and has an interest in working within an established artist-run gallery.  The CIR’s mission is to bring a unique curatorial vision to the program - designed to spotlight their curatorial practice within New York’s art world by facilitating engaging exhibitions and events.

Guest Curator Program

Alabama Contemporary is seeking guest curators and artists with thematic group exhibition concepts to add to our exhibition schedule and community. This Call for Proposals (CFP) is open to any artist(s) or curator with a contemporary art exhibition that may fit our mission, schedule and space. There are a limited number of exhibition spots each year and limited space. Our aim is to feature projects that show a fresh take on themes that are pertinent to our region.

Our goal is to inject new voices into the cultural landscape of the Gulf Coast. Each year we set priorities specific to our various programs so always check the website first. In addition to any program-specific priorities we are always looking for a fresh take on themes that are pertinent to our region.
