PIGPRINTS DRAWING+ETCHING RESIDENCY PRIZE 2022

PigPrints is inviting artists and art students from all over the world to submit their work for its 2022 Residency Prize competition.

The purpose of this prize is to give an individual artist the possibility of producing a limited edition etching and add their work to the existing list of artists that are already part of the gallery.

The selected artist will also be invited to spend a 2-week residency period in Milan to produce other work in our printshop.

 

 

APPLICATION

Artists are required to submit original black and white drawings (pen, pencil, charcoal, watercolor etc.), in view of producing an etching. It is not required for the entrants to have previous knowledge of intaglio techniques.

Throughlines

The Indianapolis Art Center announces a Call for Entry to Throughlines. Throughlines is a juried exhibition featuring contemporary drawing – contemporary takes on a traditional technique. This exhibition will highlight the world of drawing today and the richness found in the wide variety of techniques, styles, and aesthetics involved. The Art Center is calling for entries from artists 18 or older working in any drawing related media in the United States. Work made with any drawing technique or work that utilizes drawing as a critical component are eligible.

Emerging Artists 2022

EMERGING ARTISTS 2022
This is the 30th annual competition for gallery exhibition and $500 cash award.  Open to all artists working in any media. This event is devoted to the discovery, introduction and promotion of Emerging Artists. The exhibition will be held March 3 - 26, 2022, at the Limner Gallery and is open to all artists working in any media. Deadline for submissions is October 31, 2021. Entry information online at:

RSA William Littlejohn Award

Submissions for this year's Royal Scottish Academy William Littlejohn Award are now open!

This monetary award provides an opportunity to research, develop and produce a new body of work in a water-based medium. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to exhibit a selected completed work at the Royal Scottish Academy in 2022.

Dacia Gallery invites emerging and established artists to submit artwork for an opportunity to have a Solo Exhibition. We are looking for new talented artists to exhibit and to possibly represent as well. The gallery will advertise and promote the selected artist for the exhibition and host a formal Opening Reception for the exhibit, including an Artist Talk during the opening reception.
