Calling All Artists | "Smoke Break" - Group Exhibition at New York

Sometimes the best part of the party is stepping out for a smoke break. During the six minutes it takes to smoke a cigarette, anything can happen: strangers confess things to one another that they would never admit to their closest friends, long-forgotten anecdotes are resuscitated for a good laugh, and fiery opinions are exchanged. This fleeting intimacy and connection may only last for a brief moment, but the memory lingers like the scent of tobacco on your clothes.

Call for Artists: Pathways 2026: The Carlos Malamud Prize

The Rollins Museum of Art and the UCF Art Gallery invite submissions for Pathways 2026: The Carlos Malamud Prize. Pathways is a biennial, juried art competition and exhibition for emerging professional artists living in Florida. This edition will consist of a juried selection process resulting in a Summer 2026 group exhibition for the competition’s finalists. All exhibited artists will receive support and networking through a series of events and direct engagement with curators, museum and gallery professionals, faculty, and community to expand their connections in the art community.

OPEN CALL | “The Ones Who Stayed” Group Exhibition at Memor Museum

We are living in an era of uncertainty, where identity and belonging are constantly negotiated. For many who come to study or work abroad, the decision to “stay” is not just a choice—it is a struggle against systemic barriers, isolation, and invisible weight.

Instead of clear paths, life becomes an ongoing process of adaptation, resilience, and redefinition. This exhibition seeks to make visible what often remains hidden: the cost, the courage, and the fragile hope behind staying.

OPEN CALL | Thinking in the borderlands: Beyond the Human Chapter International Juried Online Exhibition

This exhibition is part of A Space Gallery’s annual series—a long‑term, international curatorial program. Each month we issue an open call around a new theme, building a continuously updated, publicly searchable “Nomadic Archive of Thought” that offers transnational career support to artists worldwide. We also maintain an “Annual Artists Top List”: those who have exhibited and won repeatedly will be given priority consideration for future A Space offline shows, residency projects, and participation in international art fairs.
