Spring Inaugural Open Call

Theme: Environmental Protection and Us

Climate change is happening right before our eyes and there is limited time to reverse the effects the industrial world has had on our planet. Artists are in a position to use their unique voices to educate an audience about these issues. Wolf's Milk Gallery is looking for works that explore the themes of environmental protection and our impact as humans on nature for our inaugural online group show. Types of work accepted are: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, installation, performance and time-based works about the environment.

Artists will be shown in our new online gallery space as well as be featured on our ever growing instagram.

Deadline: 4/20/24

The AiR We Breathe residency in Chiang Mai

Studio 88 Artist Residency is calling for visual artists to apply for a special residency on the theme “The AiR We Breathe”, to be part of the Art for Air Festival 2023 in Chiangmai.

The 4-week programme in our residency space in Doi Saket, 30 minutes from the centre of ChiangMai, explores the topic of air quality. The residency, with a select group of international and Thai artists, is facilitated by locally based arts manager and Studio 88 founder Sasiwimon Wongjarin (Aom).

There will be a welcome dinner, two studio visits and a catered public event, which will be held as part of the Art for Air Festival 2023 in Chiangmai in June 2023. This is the second part of this special call.

Women Environmentalists Art Exhibit

In connection to the eight women environmentalists featured on our site, Women Soaring Project (WSP) will be holding our annual online art exhibit titled "Women Environmentalists". Artists should submit their best 2-D art (i.e., photography, painting, drawing, prints, mixed-media, etc.) related to the "Women Environmentalists" theme, which commemorates and appreciates women who ardently fight to protect the environment in various ways. WSP encourages entries from all individuals regardless of their experience or education.  Everyone over the age of 18 is encouraged to participate.
