“Innovate” Exhibition + Collector’s Print Issue presented by The Untitled Space and The Untitled Magazine

What does “Innovate” mean to you?

Perhaps you have always felt “innovative”? Or perhaps you recently had to evolve and adapt your creativity or studio practice due to the pandemic… Did you have to transform your style or medium due to the challenges you faced? We want to hear your story, how you are innovative whatever that means to you!

The Untitled Space art gallery is pleased to announce a partnership with The Untitled Magazine for an exclusive artist open call for the “Innovate” Art Issue and Exhibition.

2021 Old Town Keller Rotating Sculpture Program

In 2017, the Keller Public Arts Board implemented a rotating public art program for outdoor sculptures in the newly updated Old Town Keller area. A $1,500 honorarium is available for each piece selected by the Board for the fifth year of the program. The City of Keller invested over $4 million in improvements for the Old Town location, including the construction of a linear pedestrian promenade, addition of outdoor seating and community areas and installation of 11 concrete sculpture pads. Old Town is home to an eclectic blend of restaurants and small businesses that attract a variety of visitors and provide great exposure for art in the area. For 2021, the Board will select 5 sculptures for a two-year exhibit beginning in June 2021.

1010 Gallery - Boston, MA

TERMS OF THE CALL

The initiative consists of a physical exhibition that will take place on a six month or annual cycle within the 1010 Commonwealth Ave building. Artists have the opportunity to display their work throughout the five-story building.

***Previously, artists were accepted for either the January-June or July-December cycles or for an annual show. Due to changes from COVID-19, we are pushing our deadlines for installs to Fall 2020. We still encourage you to apply!
