CUVO Videoart Festival - OPEN CALL 2021

Once again, the itinerant videoart festival, CUVO, launches its call to make a selection of the eight most innovative audiovisual creations at an international level.

Since its outset, CUVO has aimed to give a wide and transversal gaze about the problems of our present through contemporary art.

For this sixth edition we want to ponder about how the idea of paradise has changed in the times we live in. Has it definitely disappeared? Or we can still design new liquid typologies from which to configure a new idea of community.

We are open to receive any type of videocreation, regardless of its technique and genre.

Dreams & Resilience Virtual Art Show

The Coronavirus. Became a source of stress or even anxiety for many people. For many more.. Something even worse.

What helped us out here was our Resilience. It can help us fight and overcome almost everything. Maybe the only downside of resilience is that, it's not something we receive as a gift. Needs time to build, shapes with your experiences. Basically we shape it as we progress through life. The reason why each and every one of us respond differently to Covid. Basically our capability of being able to go through difficult or even extreme events and how we survive the aftermath.

Like our Art.

Cine al Patio - Open Call for films

Cine al patio presents a monthly selection of short films in the unique outdoor setting of La Casa del Árbol Cultural Centre in the heart of Buenos Aires. Our screenings take place in a relaxed atmosphere, catered to an audience eager to experience high-level artistic content from a variety of culture and genres.

We are interested in receiving entries from all manner of fields, be it fiction or documentary, experimental or narrative, live-action or animated, or a combination of these.

The aim of Cine al patio is to ultimately connect audiences through a shared love of cinema, to reconcile people through the power of stories told over a mere matter of minutes.

We very much hope that you’ll share that experience with us.
