Finest Art Showcase San Diego

Art Scene West presents the Finest Art Showcase San Diego: an exhibition of fine art of the highest caliber. From this open call opportunity, up to 60 artists will have their artwork juried, promoted, and showcased at the Art Scene West online gallery and in person at the exclusive live event on June 29th, 2024. Selected artwork will be exhibited on our website for 3 months (June 1st - August 31 2024) and the live event will take place at the elegant Marina Village Conference Center in San Diego, California. Select artists will enjoy their own artist page on the Art Scene West website featuring their artist bio, personal statement, artist photo, and artwork for the duration of the exhibition.

I AM HERE - a partnership, Studio Montclair and OutMontclair

Studio Montclair seeks entries for I AM HERE - a collaboration with OutMontclair
at the Studio Montclair Gallery located in the heart of Montclair from September
15 – October 20, 2023.
The exhibition, I AM HERE, is seeking submissions from artists whose work reflects
what it means to be queer and be ourselves. This theme can take many forms and is
open to interpretation! In the face of all the emotions we contend with, this showcase of
artwork is an opportunity to be heard about your anger, your hopes, your fears, and
your dreams! The title of the show expresses the joy and power queer communities feel
as they take up space, gather together, making themselves known to be heard and
seen.

Red

Crimson, vermillion, scarlet…

 

Red: one of three primary colors from which all other colors are mixed. One of the very first colors used to create art and has been a tool for drawing focus and communicating narratives throughout art history.  

 

Red is a highly evocative color: associated with power, dominance, passion, love, even anger and seduction. In various cultures, red has been associated with political and social movements, both historically and today.

 

Manifold Global invites artists of all backgrounds and mediums to submit artworks prominently featuring or exploring use of the color Red.

Extinction Virtual Exhibition

As we move into our second quarter of 2022, I am thrilled to announce that the Syzygy Project's new theme will be: EXTINCTION! The Syzygy Project will be spending the next three months diving deep into this incredibly important theme, exploring it through the lens of art, activism, and conservation.

We invite artists from all creative backgrounds to consider the species and ecosystems that are disappearing at a rapid rate around the globe. What is your connection to these species, what can we all do to protect those who are vulnerable to the changing climate and how art can serve as a voice for change? 

All selected works will be displayed in a virtual exhibition on The Syzygy Project website and featured on our social media.

GALLERY - SPACE FOR RENT

SoHo is a young independent association for Art, Design and Culture based in Sweden, started in the end of 2018, we organise national and international events and fairs. We have established a wide network of artists and art lovers in a national and international base with collaborations worldwide.

We recently opened Galleri SoHo in August 2020. Space = 135 square metres (photo attached)
