This exhibition explores the intersection of fashion, circus, and stagecraft, capturing the drama, elegance, and eccentricity of the performing arts. Art of the Spectacle creates a visual celebration of performance, where costume, movement, and theatrics take center stage.

Artists are invited to submit works that embrace the bold, the theatrical, and the extraordinary. Whether inspired by vintage vaudeville, avant-garde fashion, or the magic of the circus, this show seeks artwork that transforms the gallery into a stage, where every piece tells a story.

photoED magazine is looking to publish – in print and online:

  • Well considered submissions – A project/idea crafted with intention

  • Fine art – not stock photography

  • Original artistic work

  • Diverse interpretations on the theme “MOVEMENT” – which may refer to a social or community movement, momentum of any kind, or an exploration of physical motion through photography.

Submissions are blind reviewed by our Volunteer Curatorial Editorial board members.

When examining entries, judges will assess how the work presents a unique interpretation on the theme of MOVEMENT.
