Work Size: Up to 100cm x 100cm

Requirements:

· All works must be artist’s original works, and copyright.

· Please submit high-resolution images as the form of JPG or JPEG.

(Do not submit captured images).

· To ensure security in displaying, the work size must be up to

100cm x 100cm, including frame and hanging hardware.

· All works must be suitably framed and ready for installation.

(Canvas or Framed, Glass Frames are not allowed).

· Provide a short description of your work (350 words maximum).

The Enchanted Garden 10th anniversary

'The Enchanted Garden 2023' is an international art exhibition in a structured, natural landscape garden full of water and contrasts. It is located on the language border, between Jodoigne, Hoegaarden and Tienen, halfway between Brussels, Liège and Namur and on the 'RAVEL' cycle route connecting Tienen, Hoegaarden with Jodoigne and Namur.

In 2023 we're organising it for the tenth time! Many celebrations are planned.

The 2023 (work in process) theme 'Movements' express all type of (e)motions, e.g. physical as in wind, water and animated sculptures, (e)motions suggested in artworks as sculptures of moving humans, animals. Sculptures that combine different materials are highly recommended, e.g. glass combined with metal, bronze combined with ceramics, ... 

MOVEMENT GROUP JURIED SHOW

What MOVES you? Submit your original or limited edition artwork that has been created within the past two years for the group juried exhibit, MOVEMENT. Many things move. Examples are mechanical objects (cars, trains, boats), light, water, people and so on. Showcase what MOVES in your artwork. Best in Show is voted on by the public and the artist with the most votes wins a $100 cash prize. Enter up to 5 works online via our call for entry portal. 

Scholarship for Performing Arts Conference

There is a great opportunity from ArtUniverse to receive a SCHOLARSHIP of €200 for participation in the IUGTE Conference and (or) Physical Theatre Lab, which will take place on 25-29 July in a beautiful 13th-century castle in Austria.

“Performing Arts Between Tradition and Contemporaneity” is the annual international multidisciplinary conference exploring the bridge between the “traditional” and “contemporary” in performing arts.

The IUGTE Conference and Physical Theatre Lab are a gathering of performing artists, academics, teachers, managers, producers and designers from a wide variety of creative fields, including theatre, dance, music, visual and multimedia art, arts administration, performing arts training, stage design and theatre technology.

Frame Rush 2022

Frame Rush, the annual screendance event, takes place in May 2022 at The Place for a live evening of screenings.
 
 Focusing on movement and sound, this event explores the definition of the continuously emerging genre of screendance as an immersive sensory experience. Our aim is to bring together new audiences to watch and discuss works from around the world. Particularly in the times of the COVID-19 pandemic, screendance is becoming more and more relevant.
