AI SOLO '24 AWARD

SOLO AI ‘24 AWARD, an international prize focused on the intersection
between contemporary creative practices and artificial intelligence, driven by the Colección
SOLO, announces its 2024 edition. The award seeks to celebrate excellence, innovation, and
narrative in the field of moving image artworks created with artificial intelligence (AI). With
a prize of €10,000 and various exhibitions, the award will be presented on 10 May 2024 at
Goldsmiths University in London.

Call for submissions for a virtual residency opportunity centered around moving-image and third space. 

The moving image mimics and relays the accelerated motion of today’s world. It has the potential to not only mirror the present moment, but to reconstitute experience into the digital and the metamorphic. The moving image can look into the future, imagine and reify the movement of signs and symbols existent in our imaginations of what is to come.

Call Out for Moving Image Artists from the Inner West, Sydney, NSW, Australia

We are looking for new media, projection, video and artists who can communicate via moving image to submit for MG's Global Projection Festival initiative, which has been seen in Kenya, Indonesia, Colombia, Nepal, Jordan, Peru, Italy, Cambodia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Finland, Spain, Austria, USA and Hong Kong.

Project/Forward: 2047 will be part of the Inner West Fest on 26 March and 5 artists will be commissioned to create works that are relevant for the local community and the local perspective.

Works are to be a moving image work that responds or aligns to the theme. It can be an animation, illustration, video, a rendering, a loop, timelapse, stop-motion: anything that moves. .

Roman Susan Art Foundation is now accepting submissions of moving image work. Potential configurations include storefront projections at 1224 W Loyola Ave in Chicago, monitor-based installation, and screening events as a part of programming at various locations.
