F11: Digital Paintings for Full Screen

Derfner Judaica Museum + The Art Collection invites artists to submit work for an upcoming virtual exhibition, “F11: Digital Paintings for Full Screen.” Submissions should be digital paintings on any theme intended to be viewed exclusively in a virtual space. "F11" refers to the function key that opens full screen viewing in most internet browsers. In the Covid era when many art spaces are closed or open at limited capacity, online exhibitions have become ubiquitous. Such exhibitions have utilized diverse platforms to display physical artwork that would normally be seen in-person at art fairs, museums and galleries. "F11" inverts this practice: It features art created to be viewed exclusively in a digital format and exhibited virtually.

Artist Open Call - New Portraits from England`s History

English Heritage is commissioning an England-based artist who defines themselves as either of the African diaspora, Black, African, African-Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, African-American or mixed heritage, to create a portrait celebrating the life of a person of the African diaspora whose story has contributed to England’s rich history.

This portrait of a male leader of African descent, whose name will be provided by English Heritage to the commissioned artist, will be hung at an English Heritage site in the North of England. English Heritage particularly welcomes applications from artists based in the North of England for this opportunity.

OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS

THE HOLY ART is a London based gallery, curating photography & art exhibitions in the UK and abroad.

We invite artists to exhibit their work in our Gallery in London through our Open Calls. We give the opportunities to artists to participate (photography, video art, painting, illustration, installation).

In these unprecedented times, the power of digital innovations to bridge physical restrictions and to bring us closer to art has never felt so needed and so charged with potential. In that spirit, we introduce our new online viewing room portal. We will present a new bespoke virtual exhibition curated for dynamic online viewing to accompany you on your digital journey.

We explore a new way of experiencing art.
