The Gateway International Painting Competition

The Gateway International Painting Competition is a monthly and annual JURIED online painting competition at PaintingContest.Org, open to all artists world wide over 18 years old. Comprised of 12 separate monthly competitions within the annual competition, it  begins the first day of each month and ends 11:59 pm the last day of each month, Arizona USA time, spanning August 1st to July 31st the following year.

"Abstract" Online International Juried Exhibition

Gallery Ring seeks Abstract works of art.  2D pieces including photography/digital are eligible.  All artistic styles are welcome.  Many awards are available with a cash prize and free-submission voucher for "Best In Show". Artists could also win a "Diamond Award Of Excellence", a "Juror's Choice", a "Crystal Award Of Merit", "Ruby-Sapphire-Emerald Awards", among others.

Open Call

Phoenix Athens is a nonprofit gallery and residency space in Athens, Greece that was started in November 2017. The project aims to support and empower creatives to trigger positive changes and transformation in societies.

The Residency program, Villa Exarcheia offers three to eight-week residencies to international students and practitioners in art and design who wish to produce and exhibit work that is inspired or informed by Greek culture and society. 

 Phoenix Athens gives creatives the opportunity to become immersed in the vibrant culture of Athens. The program is designed to test and encourage artists to develop their practice further through through the balanced delivery of theoretical advice as well as technical assistance thus balancing theory and practice.

The London Group Open 2019: Part II

The UK’s longest-running and most prestigious artists’ co-operative, The London Group, is delighted to announce both the member and the selected exhibitors for its 84th open exhibition.

The London Group Open 2019 offers a wonderful opportunity for emerging and established artists to raise their profile, win cash prizes, and exhibit their work alongside the Group’s esteemed members. No commission will be charged on any works sold during the 2019 exhibition in line with the Group’s commitment to give artists ‘a boost in a tough career, thereby nurturing and supporting the development of the art of the future’. Common Ground

In November 2019, Andrew Roberts and Benjamin Hope will present Common Ground, a two-man show featuring approximately 60 works painted en plein air in various locations around the UK and Europe. Both Andrew and Ben strive to ‘paint the day’ – its transient moments and moods - one of several shared motivations that unite their work.
