OC BY OCML / OPEN CALL for fashion designer and brands by OCML






One Common Media Lab, O.C.M.L., is a creative group brought together by experts in various fields such as photo, video, styling, and graphic, all based in New York City. From our ten years of experience in the fashion business in N.Y.C. since 2009, we provide consultation for emerging brands that want to break into the U.S. market in addition to visual media production. As a team with long professional experience in various fields, as a New Yorker, and as an alienated being, O.C.M.L delivers creative, customized services for clients with an intuitive multi-angled perspective on the visual market and fashion business.


O.C.M.L. is launching a global magazine for new designers and existing contemporary fashion brands or designers in related industries.

Through this project, O.C.M.L. intends to support brands and designers with competent overseas advancement to leverage into the global market as a breakthrough of limitations caused by COVID-19.

Brands and designers selected from this open call will be able to style models for this project cast by the O.C.M.L. casting team. We aim to produce various visual content cross genres as street, studio, fine art, high fashion, and installation shots. O.C.M.L. wishes for OCBYOCML to contribute for the continuous development and exchange of the fashion industry.

The project, scheduled to be carried out every six months, will be first published online, and printed at a later date. Brands and designers will be selected based on two criteria; originality and popularity and will be informed individually after the open call is closed. Selected candidates must also send sample products for shooting and display and inventory for sale to an address announced later by the due date. Furthermore, the selected products may be planned to be sold in the U.S. through our distribution channels such as our Manhattan Chelsea flagship store and online live commerce streaming under mutual agreement. Simultaneously, the collections of brands and designers participating in this project will be introduced to global consumers through local influencers in New York in collaboration with O.C.M.L.
