YICCA 21/22 - International Contest of Contemporary Art

The competition’s aim is to promote the enrolled artists, giving them chance to join the international market of contemporary art.

 

Internationality and networking make YICCA a huge opportunity for the artists, which can:

The Football Art Prize Now Is Calling for Entries

The Football Art Prize is a brand-new exhibition opportunity celebrating art and football, and giving artists from around the world the chance to show their work to a prestigious panel of judges, including artists, curators and football players; exhibit on a tour to three venues, Touchstones Rochdale, Sheffield’s Millennium Gallery and Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens and win £10,000 in cash and purchase prizes – with more awards to be announced shortly.

Ruth Borchard Self Portrait Prize 2021

The Ruth Borchard Collection invites all artists to enter the Self Portrait Prize to celebrate the practice of self portraiture.

There are no restrictions on size or media and no expected form or style. The only requirement is that the work must be a self portrait. Historically entries have included both abstract and figurative works, the topic of self approached in isolation or in a group and via a range of media; including but not exclusive to, painting, drawing, digital art, textiles, sculpture, photography, ceramics and collage. 

Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize 2021

The seventh year of the internationally successful Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize is open for entries! The prize is open to artists working across all genres, styles and backgrounds. 

 

PRIZES INCLUDE:

 - £10,000 prizes and exhibitions, for the Overall Winner, the Choice Award, the Sculpture Award, the New Media Award with partners Rich Mix and Photography Award with partners Genesis Imaging.

How do materials inspire you and enter into your artistic process? What combinations of materials excite you? Show us projects that you think combine materials in fascinating ways.

This open call is created especially with the new school year in mind and is open to students registered at art schools in Europe. Projects may be either digital or analog as long as they incorporate and highlight at least two materials in combination or juxtaposition.

CALL

It is officially open the call of the 15th edition of the International Festival  “Presente Futuro”, which will take place from the 14th to the 16th of May 2020. The festival, organized by Teatro Libero of Palermo, includes several awards directed to the young contemporary creation in the field of the performing arts (theatre, dance, dance theatre, physical theatre, performance), aiming at showing and promoting the emerging European scene. It wants to support the contemporary creation through international connections, production support, recidencies and the comparison with different realities and people coming from different countries.
