Radical Reverie // Raging Revolt

Open Call: Radical Reverie//Raging Revolt

Curated By: The Jean McDonough Arts Center in Worcester, MA

**This exhibition is happening in conjunction with THT Rep's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream

Step into a dreamscape where glitter meets grit, fairies wear leather, and moonlight glows neon. Radical Reverie//Raging Revolt is an upcoming group exhibition that reimagines the enchanted forest of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as a punk queer nightclub called The Wood.

Call for Art - Queering Democracy: Art, Identity, and Politics in 2024

Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) and ImageOut Art seek artist submissions for a juried exhibition opening in Rochester, NY in October 2024. Queer art has achieved greater prominence in recent years, yet the LGBTQIA+ community's struggle for freedom and equality persists. We hope this exhibition will serve as a reflection of our current moment, and as a poignant response to the alarming rise of anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation sweeping the nation.

THE QUEER ARCHIVE FESTIVAL 2021

Introduced to the Athenian cultural scene in 2020 by the creative platform The Queer Archive with the support of Onassis Stegi, “The Queer Archive Festival” is looking forward to a strong comeback in May 2021 to celebrate the rich and vibrant queer culture of the city of Athens and beyond.

The second edition of “The Queer Archive Festival” will take place in a variety of traditional and alternative spaces within the centre of the city. In recent years, the Greek capital has grown into a genuine queer arts kernel. This burgeoning queer art scene does not only challenge dominant narratives, but also revels in the margins and the growing popularity of the fringes.
