The Healing Power of ART: Resilience 2022

About The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS and Our Mission
The Healing Power of ART & ARTIST is an initiative of Manhattan Arts International, based in NYC, NY. We believe ART has the power to heal, inspire, provoke, and challenge. We raise awareness about how art is a catalyst for positive change and enhances the well-being of individuals, society and the environment through our artist membership gallery, online art exhibitions and articles.

"There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in..." -Open Call for Visual Artists

We are reactivating our apartment gallery and looking for 2D visual work for our 5th thematic exhibition about resilience "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in ..."

We accept all visual arts except sculpture: painting, photography, drawing, digital, prints, fiber art, collage, film or video, etc.

Art Therapy Institute - 2nd Friday ArtWalk - Call for Artists: The Heart

The Art Therapy Institute is calling all creatives for a virtual community art show to take place on 2/12/21 as a part of our February 2nd Friday ArtWalk. We hope that this ArtWalk will remind us that we are not alone and honor our collective hope and resilience. We will showcase your work through electronic representations (images, videos, sounds, etc.). Submit at: https://hipaa.jotform.com/210126950990152

We ask that you center the Heart in your creative process. Some food for thought to get started: What do you hold in your Heart? How does your Heart feel? What keeps your Heart alive? All interpretations and artistic mediums are welcome.
