Eligibility:

Frame Rush, London’s annual screendance festival, returns to The Place for its 5th edition this spring.

The festival is organized by the postgraduate students of screendance, currently the only Master’s program of its kind in the world. As a cohort, we are interested in exploring the boundaries of movement-focused filmmaking.

Frame Rush welcomes dance films from every part of the globe, in any genre, from documentary, comedy, animation, narrative or experimental. We strive to make the event as inclusive as possible, and actively welcome films from all backgrounds and communities.

Frame Rush also invites non-screendance filmmakers to re-examine their work and discover if dance is already present in their films. We aim to challenge the conceptions of screendance to further expand the field.

If your financial circumstances prevent you from entering a film that matches the festival call, please contact us explaining your circumstances and we can offer a waiver.

The Place, 17 Duke's Rd, London WC1H 9PY, London
