Phoenix: Hope, Rebirth, and Transformation (in aid of Earthquake victims and their families in Turkey)

Turkish British Association for Culture (TUBAC)- a creative association that understands arts and culture can bring many benefits, is planning to organize another huge group exhibition.

This creative association aims to support young artists, promote fine arts, fashion, music, dance, theatre, literature, culinary art and to strengthen the multi-cultural bridge the UK.

 

It delivers artistic and cultural organisations by working with artists and talents - who comes from different countries, promote them and presenting their work to large masses and create a series of activities.

 

Laura Ziegler Scholarship

The Laura Ziegler Scholarship is for an emerging sculptor. No age limit.

Applicants must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number.

The scholarship covers most of the expenses associated with attending the National Sculpture Society's Celebration in June 2023.

Dexter Jones Award

The jury will determine the recipient based on an outstanding work of sculpture in bas-relief. The use of figurative or realist sculpture or sculpture that is inspired by nature, is of greatest interest. 

Eligibility:

Applicants must have been born between 1982 – 2003.

Applicants must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number.

The Enchanted Garden 2022

During the summer months of 2022 Tone Aanderaa & Ignace Clarysse are organizing the international art exhibition 'The Enchanted Garden' for the ninth time in a unique landscape, nature garden, full of water and surprises. It is situated in Jodoigne (Belgium), halfway between Brussels and Liège, on the bicycle path 'RAVEL' between Tienen and Namur.

During the preparation phase, we chose 'Light, Transparency, Reflection, Colour... Glass' as the working theme.

Dexter Jones Award Residency

The NSS Dexter Jones Award Residency at Chesterwood, in Stockbridge, MA, will be given to an emerging sculptor working in bas-relief. The award is funded by an endowment in memory of Dexter Jones, past Fellow of National Sculpture Society. The residency will begin on Monday, June 1 – June 30, 2020.  ELIGIBILITY: sculptors born between 1980 – 2001 may apply. Candidates must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number. Candidates must be available to live and work at Chesterwood in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts for the month of June 2020.  A car is essential for transportation around the region. 

Richard McDermott Miller Competition

The Competition will take place at the 2020 Sculpture Conference and will be held in Daniel Chester French’s former studio at Chesterwood. Each selected competitor will receive a Participation Scholarship.

Objective: To successfully model a bust from life (from the neck up), working from a live model. Modeling will be done in front of an audience (sculptors, patrons, and others who are attending the Sculpture Celebration Conference).

Eligibility: Sculptors must have been born between 1984-1999. All applicants must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number.
