CANVAS is an International Art Fair that will present collective and solo projects by leading and emerging international artists. ITSLIQUID Group, with an experience of more than 250 art exhibitions all around the world and twelve editions of international fairs, is proud to announce the debut of CANVAS – London International Art Fair that will represent a forum for direct exchange of ideas and contacts between collectors, artists, photographers, designers and art professionals, featuring paintings, sculptures, photography art, installations, video art and live performance.

CANVAS will provide artists and exhibitors with the unique opportunity to present their works to an international audience of professionals as curators, gallerists, collectors, editors and publishers who seek to acquire, publish and encourage the best contemporary art talents.

CANVAS is organized by ITSLIQUID GROUP in collaboration with Mercato Metropolitano and YMX Arts, and it will be held in London at THE LINE Contemporary Art Space from May 07 to October 30, 2020. It consists of 3 main events:

– THE SKIN PROJECT from May 07 to June 19, 2020

– OUT OF BALANCE from July 02 to August 14, 2020
Deadline for applications is May 31, 2020 (11.59 PM of your local time)

– MIXING IDENTITIES from September 03 to October 30, 2020

The participation includes the following services:
– exhibition space dedicated to the artist’s works
– assisting with customs formalities, international shipping and local transport
– assisting in finding accommodation for artist
– the design and the printing of invitation cards, posters
– the global and local press office, publicity, press, banners, totem, etc.
– the realization of the exhibition website and dedicated press releases
– mounting and dismounting of the exhibition
– exhibitions opening event with drinks and food
– a one day dedicated presentation, talk or workshop focusing on the artist’s career
– a dedicated live interview on MM Radio, published also on ITSLIQUID website and spread on our social networks
– providing services and drinks for small meetings at the exhibition places for invited guests
– the publication of a printed catalogue that will include all the participants

ITSLIQUID Group has produced until today more than 250 exhibitions worldwide and 10 impressive art and architecture festivals during Venice Biennale. Among the last great shows, SURFACES Festival, ANIMA MUNDI Festival, BORDERS Festival, SELF Festival, and six editions of CONTEMPORARY VENICE, presenting more than 5000 talented artists, from the emerging to the iconic.
 

The number of works you can submit is unlimited. The participation in the festival requires an entry fee only for selected artworks. Participation open to: artists, architects and designers, associate groups and studios.

Artists interested in taking part in our shows, are free to be sponsored and supported by institutions, organizations, governments and their representers; the logos of their sponsors will be included in all the communication (digital and print) of the events. Artists are free to take part in one or more events.

ITSLIQUID Group, in collaboration with Mercato Metropolitano and YMX Arts, is selecting all interesting photography, painting, installation/sculpture, video art and performance art works to include in the next exhibition THE EXTENDED BODY - MIXING CULTURES that will be held in London, at THE LINE Contemporary Art Space from March 19 to April 17 2020.

THE EXTENDED BODY - MIXING CULTURES will provide artists and exhibitors with the unique opportunity to present their works to an international audience of professionals as curators, gallerists, collectors, editors and publishers who seek to acquire, publish and encourage the best contemporary art talents.

The participation includes the following services:

THE EXTENDED BODY - MIXING CULTURES is an exhibition of contemporary art, focused on the human body as a changing system that connects us with other bodies and spaces to perceive the surrounding reality; a strong communication system with its own language and infinite ways of expression.

We invite artists to analyze the hidden parts of our identities, through an immersive experience inside the fascinating universe of the complex labyrinths of our consciousness.

SEWE Participation Scholarship

The SEWE Participation Scholarship is directed toward an emerging wildlife sculptor.  The recipient will have the opportunity to attend NSS’ 2021 Sculpture Conference.  Eligibility: Sculptors must have been born between 1981-2002.  Applicants must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number.

Prizes Details: 

Three night hotel stay in the Berkshires, MA; Registration fee for the Sculpture Conference taking place June 4-6, 2021 at Chesterwood (the former studio of Daniel Chester French), Berkshires, MA; Complimentary one year Associate Membership with National Sculpture Society

Dexter Jones Award Residency

The NSS Dexter Jones Award Residency at Chesterwood, in Stockbridge, MA, will be given to an emerging sculptor working in bas-relief. The award is funded by an endowment in memory of Dexter Jones, past Fellow of National Sculpture Society. The residency will begin on Monday, June 1 – June 30, 2020.  ELIGIBILITY: sculptors born between 1980 – 2001 may apply. Candidates must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number. Candidates must be available to live and work at Chesterwood in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts for the month of June 2020.  A car is essential for transportation around the region. 

Prizes Details: 

One-month residency and the winning sculptor will also be awarded a $1,000 stipend by Chesterwood from the Lee M. Weiser Memorial Fund, in support of a sculptor-in-residence.

Beyond Walls

Beyond Walls is a celebration of art in public spaces. Organized by the Cornelius PARC Department and the Cornelius Public Art Committee, the selected works will be installed in a park setting or in the downtown arts district and will be on exhibit from May 2020 through January 2021.

2020 Old Town Keller Rotating Sculpture Program

In 2017, the Keller Public Arts Board implemented a rotating public art program for outdoor sculptures in the newly updated Old Town Keller area. A $1,500 honorarium is available for each piece selected by the Board for the fourth year of the program. The City of Keller invested over $4 million in improvements for the Old Town location, including the construction of a linear pedestrian promenade, addition of outdoor seating and community areas and installation of 11 concrete sculpture pads. Old Town is home to an eclectic blend of restaurants and small businesses that attract a variety of visitors and provide great exposure for art in the area. For 2020, the Board will select up to 6 sculptures for a two-year exhibit beginning in June 2020. The Artwork will be for sale for the duration of the exhibit with a 25% commission collected by the City of Keller. The selected artists will be recognized at the fourth annual Keller Art Walk on November 14, 2020.

Prizes Details: 

An award of $500 will be presented for one Best-in-Show among the up to six sculptures selected for exhibit.
