ZWISCHEN__RÄUMEN // MIĘDZY__MIEJSCAMI

From 31.07.-13.08.2023 Materia in Łódź, and from 17.-30.08.2023, STUDIO2 of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) in Berlin will be each hosting one artistic research residency. The residencies are aimed at individual artists or groups of up to two artists from the field of dance, theatre, performance (also interdisciplinary). The residencies will enable open-artistic research on a self-selected theme at each unique partner venue and the use of the specific local organizational infrastructure for the artistic work.

SQUEEZE IT 4TH EDITION

Trieste Contemporanea is pleased to announce the fourth edition of the SQUEEZE IT competition.
The contest asks to artists and young professionals under the age of 30, born in the EU countries and in the CEI member states, to squeeze their talent and work at the crossroads of three creative languages: Visual Arts, Digital Technology and Theatre.

Composing For Stage with Pphilip Venables

CAMP is a residential arts facility in the French Pyrenees. It's a place where great art is made, new movements are formed, new ideas are explored and groundbreaking people are nurtured. CAMP is located in Aulus les Bains, the last village before the France/Spain Pyrenean frontier chain. The location is spectacular - we are nestled at 750m above sea level, surrounded by snowcapped peaks over 3000m high, ancient forests and cascading waterfalls. There are eagles, lammergeiers, vultures, ibex and bears. Walk out of the residency, and within ten minutes you are completely alone in one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in Europe.

Call for Musical Theatre Submissions

Live & In Color is looking for playwrights, composers, and lyricists of color and/or other underrepresented communities interested in developing their new musical. The selected musical submission will have a one-week workshop in the fall at The Bingham Camp in Salem, Connecticut culminating in a staged presentation to an invited audience. Submission requirements can be found below. OPERA AND THEATRE IN SEARCH OF ARTISTIC-DIGITAL FORMATS AND REALMS OF EXPERIENCE

The analogue world offers opera and theatre unlimited possibilities. With performing artists, music and design, the most varied realms of experience can be conjured on an empty stage in the here and now. But what new (virtual) spaces can be explored by incorporating the digital dimension? The Komische Oper Berlin (KOB) and the Berliner Ensemble (BE) are interested in developing artistic formats that merge new technologies with the classical elements, capabilities and resources of theatre and opera.
