"Voyage-A Home Elsewhere"

It is said that after every trip, we are never the same as when we left.

As Maya Angelou wrote, “The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned.” We all seek security, protection, and comfort–but such does not look the same for all of us. When we leave, we know what we are leaving but we don't know what we will find. People travel to discover new places or to discover a dimension where they can be in harmony with themselves and with others.
In this process of evolution and rebirth that the journey determines in people's lives, the only sure thing is the baggage of experiences that each of them has accumulated over time and that guide them in the following actions.

From physical structures to a community of people, we all have different versions of what it means to be “at home.” How do we define “home,” and how do we find it when the odds are against us? It is therefore here that the idea of travel resonates strongly. What things are hidden inside a suitcase? People's dreams, desires, ambitions, and emotions.

This exhibition aims to explore the travel stories that have marked the identity and lives of people in search of their own happy place.
