Teaching Artist Cohort

Grant Applications Now Open for Teaching Artists! 

Thirty mid-career craft artists who teach will receive $10,000 grants and join a 6-month cohort experience that supports their artistic and teaching career development with programs, mentorship, and peer-to-peer learning. 

Applications are welcome from craft artists whose practice includes working as teaching artists in the schools or community, non-tenured or non-academic educators, adjunct instructors, visiting artists, museum educators, and community and workshop instructors.

International Call for Artists - Curatorial Review Catalogue Publication:

No application, publication, participation, or selection fees. No fees.

For each catalogue edition, up to six artists are selected for detailed curatorial review essays, written by the curator. 

How to apply:​

1. Email your CV, 3 image samples, and artist website to curator@aedrafinearts.com​

2. Provide a *letter of interest explaining why you desire to be published with a curatorial review.​ 

Emerging Artists 2025

dodomu gallery is excited to announce an open call "Emerging Artists 2025". The exhibition will run from April 3 - May 22, 2025 on our website.

This exhibition aims to spotlight the diverse voices and innovative perspectives of emerging artists across various mediums. We are looking for artists who are pushing boundaries within their artistic practice, experimenting with new forms and exploring unique concepts. Contemporary representational and abstract work will be considered.

Artists are invited to submit their work related to the exhibition theme in various media of drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, installations, ceramics, textiles, photography, digital and mixed media.

The Plunge - Public Art RFQ

The City of El Segundo is accepting applications from qualified mosaic artists for The Plunge Mosaic Tile Mural project. Submissions are due by 5:00 p.m. on March 27, 2025.

Three finalists will be selected to submit proposals. The final artist will be awarded a contract to design, fabricate, and install the mural, which must reflect The Plunge’s history and meet durability requirements for a humid, high-traffic aquatic facility.

Guest Room: Iris Sikking & Fleurie Kloostra

Guest Room aims to inspire collaboration and creative exchange. In this edition, Iris Sikking, curator of photography at Fotomuseum Den Haag, partners with Fleurie Kloostra, curator at Melkweg Expo - an exhibition space dedicated to contemporary photography and a platform for emerging artists in the heart of Amsterdam.
