Since 2007 "PILOTENKUECHE" is an international art program based in Germany's new art capital Leipzig. The independent project is run by artists to support and empower artists.

The New Artist | Call For Artists!

In the last hundred years, humankind has seen unprecedented innovations and changes, from skyscrapers to moon landings, to social media, to human rights, to Art...? 

 

At this very moment in our society, everything moves incredibly fast, time doesn’t seem sufficient anymore. Artists seem to find their path much harder, the ongoing changes create a need for a continuous state of transcendence, and this is reflected in contemporary art.

 

The aim of this exhibition is to explore the trends in contemporary art and to create a dialogue between the artists and the viewers.

Our galleries in London & Athens are now welcoming submissions for digital exhibits no matter what your background and medium - painting, photography, printmaking; video art; poems or sculpture. We're keen to see works from any artist and there's no charge for submitting applications! Physical artwork (canvases etc) may require photos/videos of the pieces. Get creative & submit today!

London Open Art - 10 day physical show

Artists from all countries are welcome to submit their works for consideration. You are welcome to submit works in any medium. (painting, photography, printmaking, video art, installation, films, sculpting, mixed media, poems, illustration, etc). The theme of the exhibition is OPEN.

Any artist from any background can submit any of their work. There is no charge to submit your application, please feel free to share your work with us.

The participation fee is £180 (for two artworks) or £120 (for one artwork) for our physical shows.

We also accept payments with Klarna and Afterpay/Clearpay, providing our artists with a range of payment options for their convenience.

Collage Artist Residencies: Scotland

Kolaj Institute is partnering with A’ the Airts and the Nithsdale Hotel in Sanquhar, Scotland to offer week-long residencies for collage artists in Spring and Fall 2024. Collage Artist Residency: Scotland is a week-long artist residency designed for artists working in collage who seek to make art in community with other artists. The residency will unfold over the course of a week. As part of Kolaj Institute's year long exploration of Castles as Buildings, Metaphors, and Systems of Power, while in Scotland, we will consider the castles of Sanquhar, Drumlanrig, and Morton; their history, folklore, and evolution.
