Beneath the Surface

Artflow Alliance invites artists to submit work for Beneath the Surface, a group exhibition exploring the layers hidden beneath what we see, feel, and remember. This theme embraces both the metaphorical and the literal—delving into emotional depths, spiritual undercurrents, ancestral memory, and the mystery of realms beneath land, sea, and even the physical space beneath objects in our everyday lives.

Artflow Alliance is a collaborative community that fosters creativity, connection, and the exchange of ideas among artists and art enthusiasts. We are dedicated to creating platforms for artistic expression, providing opportunities for artists to showcase their work, and building a network that supports creativity in all forms. Through exhibitions like Beneath the Surface, we aim to inspire dialogue, challenge perceptions, and highlight the power of art to uncover hidden layers of meaning.

Whether your work uncovers hidden identities, channels energy through abstraction, or evokes the quiet power of what lies underground, underwater, or unnoticed beneath the familiar, this exhibition is a space to reveal what resists the surface.

We’re seeking artists who are unafraid to explore:

• The subconscious mind

• Spiritual or emotional depth

• Hidden histories or truths

• Physical spaces beneath the earth, sea, or objects

• Symbolic language, energy, and transformation

Exhibition Details:

• No entry fee

• Virtual exhibition running from July 1st to August 31st

• Submission deadline: June 15th

Submission Guidelines:
Artists should submit the following:

1. Artist Statement – A brief explanation of your work and how it connects to the theme Beneath the Surface (maximum 300 words).

2. High-Resolution Images – Up to 5 images of the artwork(s) you wish to exhibit. Images should be submitted in JPG or PNG format, with a resolution of at least 300dpi.

3. Artwork Title(s), Medium(s), and Dimensions – Include the title, medium used, and the size of the artwork(s).

4. Artist Bio – A short biography (maximum 150 words).

5. Link to Portfolio, Website, or Social Media – If available, please include a link to your portfolio, website, or social media for further viewing.
