Cassandra Herzberg has worked in a sales role with Gagosian gallery for the last 6 years. She graduated with a degree in Art History from Brown University in 2012, and then received her Masters degree in Art History from New York University's Institute of Fine Arts in 2014. While attending NYU, her thesis examined the ways in which new art forms emerged through the use of computer-generated simulation, specifically focusing on Ian Cheng's infinite, live simulation, Entropy Wrangler. Cassandra has held roles at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, Performa, and the Sculpture Center. While in those capacities, her areas of focus included archival and curatorial research. Prior to Gagosian, Cassandra worked in a sales role at David Zwirner, New York.

Cassandra is an avid art collector, and is actively involved in the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami. She has recently relocated to Miami to explore new opportunities in the region for Gagosian

Residency and Critique Sessions
  - Four-week residency program through an Open Call.
  - Live critiques twice weekly: Mondays and Wednesdays, 12-3 pm EST (9-12 PDT, 5-8 pm London, 6-9 pm         Europe, 11 pm-2 am HKT, 12:30-3:30 am ACST).
  - Encourages peer feedback on in progress works. 

Submission Guidelines
  - Artists submit artwork only (no resumes, CVs, websites, or biographies).
  - Use of handles, pseudonyms, voice changers, and non-representational avatars permitted.

Exhibition and Public Access
  - There is a post-residency public exhibition held in The Salon
  - Artists names, media links, and exhibition card is displayed on website. 
  -The exhibition is open to the public for one month.
