Overview

KUNSTRAUM LL in Brooklyn, NYC is calling for submissions for our 2026 Exhibition Program. Emerging and mid-career artists are invited to submit their work for consideration in a spring 2026 group exhibition curated by our 2026–27 Curator-in-Residence. The exhibition theme will evolve from the selected works, offering a dynamic platform for artists whose practices push the boundaries of form, concept, and context.

About KUNSTRAUM

KUNSTRAUM is a pioneering interdisciplinary space in New York City that redefines artistic collaboration through innovative exhibitions and a vibrant international community. Founded in 2015, KUNSTRAUM has produced 30+ group exhibitions featuring 240+ artists from the United States and abroad.

Our program foregrounds emerging voices and experimental practices across painting, installation, and new media. Past exhibitions such as 7 Women 7 Sins, Territorio Posible, and Identity in Context have explored intersections of identity, urban life, and social transformation.

Exhibition Space & Terms

The exhibition will take place in KUNSTRAUM’s gallery space, a 250 sq ft gallery inside a 1,000 sq ft coworking loft at 20 Grand Avenue in a beautifully renovated factory building in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, near the Navy Yard.

• Exhibition duration: 4 weeks in the gallery

• Extended visibility: 6 months online via KUNSTRAUM’s website

• Sales: Artists receive 50% of proceeds from any sold work; the remaining 50% is shared between the curator and KUNSTRAUM.

Eligibility

• Emerging and mid-career artists working in any visual medium, with a focus on painting, installation, and new media.

• National and international submissions are welcome.
