During the summer months of 2022 Tone Aanderaa & Ignace Clarysse are organizing the international art exhibition 'The Enchanted Garden' for the ninth time in a unique landscape, nature garden, full of water and surprises. It is situated in Jodoigne (Belgium), halfway between Brussels and Liège, on the bicycle path 'RAVEL' between Tienen and Namur.

During the preparation phase, we chose 'Light, Transparency, Reflection, Colour... Glass' as the working theme.

We invite artists to propose one of their artworks as the 'Centrepiece' of the exhibition (using the concept of an ‘Open Call’). It will be the main artwork presented on all our websites, publications, marketing, mailings, press releases and, of course, during the exhibition itself. It will put the artist and his artworks in the spotlight throughout the whole season.

Your compensation:

Focus point on all our websites : ‘www.the-enchanted-garden.info’ , ‘www.le-jardin-enchante.info’ and ‘www.de-betoverende-tuin.info’ the corresponding Facebook and Google-pages. On peak days, our websites receive up to five thousand visitors a day.

You will be mentioned on a hundred external websites talking about events, art, news, etc. announcing the exhibition, such as Evensi, QueFaire, UitInVlaaanderen, DagjeWeg, ...

The press releases mention the artist and if possible, include a photo of the artwork. At least three press releases per season are sent to a thousand selected journalists in Belgium and abroad.

E-mails sent to interested persons, visitors, buyers mention the artist and if possible, include a photo of the artwork. At least three mailing campaigns are organised each season to approximately fifty thousand interested people.

The 'Centrepiece' is placed at the central place of the exhibition.

Due to the high public interest in your 'Centrepiece' and your other works, you can anticipate positive results from this exhibition.

The promotion of your 'Centrepiece' depends of course on the advertising possibilities of your work and how we can present it during the exhibition.

Our demands concerning the 'Centrepiece':

The piece represents the work theme 'Light, Transparency, Reflection, Colour ... Glass' into a work of art. The exhibition theme will be influenced by the choice of the 'Centrepiece'.

It combines various materials, preferably also glass. It is a garden sculpture, but the buyer must have the possibility to install it indoors. Artworks using other materials other than glass can also be proposed.

The dimensions of the work are not important, as long as it can be easily transported by the buyer.

Because of the significance of the 'Centrepiece' during the exhibition, even for the buyer, it is best to propose a sculpture in a higher price range.

The work should be attractive to the visitor and not provoke negative comments.

We can provide a socle.

You can find more information about the exhibition on our website ‘www.the-enchanted-garden.info’ or request by email (info@ignace-clarysse.com et artsanctuary@live.com) or by phone (+32 (0) 493 628 540). You can also use the above-mentioned emails to submit your proposed 'Centrepiece' and/or other artworks.

We look forward to receiving your proposal by Monday 03 January 2022 (or later if you want to propose for the 2023 exhibition :-))

Kind regards and see you soon,

Tone Aanderaa & Ignace Clarysse
