OPEN CALL: KUNSTNERNES EFTERÅRSUDSTILLING 2024

Do you want the chance to exhibit your works in one of Denmark’s leading art institutions, while also becoming a part of a 124-year-long history? Now is the time to apply for participation at Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling 2024! This year we have made the application process 100% digital and thereby easier and more accessible to more artists.

Since 1900, Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling (the Artists’ Autumn Exhibition) has been an open, censored exhibition where everyone has the opportunity to apply. The jury takes all submitted works into account, and their assessment is made solely on the basis of the potential of the individual work. The very special thing about Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling is that the applicants’ names, gender,
age, ethnicity, nationality and background are not available to the jury, which ensures a fair and democratic selection.

Over the years, this inclusive approach has meant that more than 6,000 artists have taken their first steps onto the Danish and international art scene through Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling. Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen, Wilhelm Freddie, Sonja Ferlov Mancoba, Asger Jorn, Poul Gernes, Ursula Reuter Christiansen and Jeannette Ehlers. The list goes on, and now you also have the opportunity to write yourself into the history.

THIS YEAR’S JURY
The jury for Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling 2024 consists of four visual artists, who together make up a broad spectrum of
the Danish art scene. The jury consists of:

• Fryd Frydendahl (b. 1984, DK)
  Artist and head of the photo school Fatamorgana (DK).
• Jessie Kleemann (b. 1959, GL)
  Artist and writer, educated at the Graphic Workshop, Nuuk.
• Kinga Bartis (b. 1984, RO)
  Artist, educated at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
• Rune Bosse (b. 1989, DK)
  Artist, educated at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
