NUDO,    festival    de    poesía    desatada    -organized    by    RAYOS    Y    CENTELLAS,    cultural    management-    opens    call    for    V2    versos&visuals    2026,    the    videopoetry    exhibition    that    is    held    in    Barcelona    as    part    of    the    festival's    programme.

Since    the    birth    of    the    festival,    we    have    always    been    interested    in    how    image    and    word    marry,    a    union    that    has    materialized    in    multiple    ways    for    centuries.    The    great    power    of    the    word    with    the    evocative    force    of    the    moving    image    create    true    works    of    art.    We    could    say    that    video    poetry    is    a    genre,    within    video    art,    that    has    convulsed    the    poetic    scene    and    enriched    the    meanings    of    poetry    itself.    This    new    method    of    social    communication    or    way    of    telling    a    story    is    being    reinvented    daily    and    we    consider    it    crucial    to    give    it    the    place    and    importance    it    deserves.    Hence    another    knot    germinates    in    our    festival    universe,    V2,    the    fertile    knot    between    verses    and    visuals.    

Call    details: 

 1.    Open    participation,    without    any    restrictions.  

 2.    Only    video    poems    are    accepted.    By    this    we    understand    an    audiovisual    work    in    which    there    is    a    poem    (recited/written/suggested)    and    moving    images.    The    use    of    music    or    other    sound    elements    is    optional.    In    conclusion,    we    are    looking    for    an    artistic    work    based    on    the    integrated    creation    of    moving    image,    sound    and    verbal    language.        Important:    moving    image    is    not    pictures    one    after    another.    Examples:    video-poetic    installation,    poetic    VJ,    poetic    net    art,    video    clip,    film    poetry    or    video-poetic    documentary.    The    management    of    the    copyright    of    these    elements    is    the    responsibility    of    their    creator.    

3.    The    videopoems    to    be    presented    must    meet    the    following    characteristics:    -Duration:    5    minutes    maximum.    -Language:    any    -Subtitles:    in    Spanish,    if    language    is    different.    -Free    theme    and    it    can    have    been    showed    before.    -Respect    copyright    -Format:    compatible    with    the    screening    (MPG,    MPEG,    MP4,    MOV)    -Name    of    the    author    at    the    end    or    beginning    of    the    artwork    

4.    Participants    may    submit    as    many    proposals    as    they    wish,    always    accompanied    by    the    following    information:    -Name    and    surname,    address,    brief    bio,    contact    telephone    number    and    email.    -Technical    file    of    the    video    creation    (title,    year,    author    of    the    poem/images/music,    voice,    etc).    -Text:    I    authorize    the    NUDO    Festival    to    broadcast    this    video    for    free,    as    I    own    the    rights    to    it.    .........................................    Signature    Complete    Name    

5.    The    deadline    for    receiving    proposals    is    29th    March    at    11:59    p.m.    Any    proposal    received    after    the    deadline    will    unfortunately    not    be    evaluated.    

6.    Video    poems    should    be    sent    via    Drive    or    Dropbox,    granting    permission    for    viewing,    to    the    following    email    address:    videopoesia.nudo@gmail.com    with    the    subject    line    ‘Call    for    Entries    V2’.        Files    sent    via    Wetransfer    will    not    be    accepted.    

7.    A    selection    will    be    made    from    among    the    works    received    by    a    jury    made    up    of    members    or    collaborators    of    RAYOS    Y    CENTELLAS,    including    artists,    managers    and    curators.    This    year,    the    following    cash    prizes    will    be    awarded:    -        Best    NUDO    2026    video    poem:    250€    -        Special    Audience    Award: 100€    (voted    for    by    the    audience    attending    the    screening)    

8.    The    list    of    selected    entries    and    the    winning    artist    will    be    announced    on    11th    April    on    the    festival's    website    and    social    media.        

9.    The    selected    works    will    form    part    of    the    official    programme    of    NUDO,    the    festival    of    unbridled    poetry,    and    will    be    screened    at    a    special    session    in    Barcelona,    in    the    auditorium    of    the    Pati    Llimona    cultural    centre.    We    are    preparing    NUDO    festival    to    be    held    in    other    places,    so    such    selection    of    works    may    be    projected    as    part    of    their    corresponding    programming.    

10.    The    intellectual    property    of    the    works    always    remains    in    the    hands    of    their    authors,    granting    to    NUDO    Festival    the    authorization    to    show    their    works.    

11.    Participation    in    this    call    implies    full    acceptance    of    these    rules.    Thanks    in    advance    to    all    of    you    who    want    to    participate.
