The exhibition

Openbach Galerie invites you to take part in its new exhibition on collector's cards.  With a view to exploring this new format and enabling artists to make it their own, we're calling for applications to take part in an exhibition where experts and novices alike can try their hand at creating cards.

The exhibition will feature a multitude of cards, and exhibiting artists will leave with a series of edited cards!

Instructions:

Three ways to participate:

Option 1. Design your own card: Create your own card model, complete with feature card, personal illustration and unique reverse side! You can submit up to 6 cards.

Option n°2. Your design on a card from the Openbach Artcg series: Enter the Openbach card collection. We'll provide you with a template with the design, and you'll send us an original design in square format. The drawings we receive will then be integrated into the card design. Only one card can be produced. 

Option 3. Card transformation: Use an existing card and transform it. Cutting and pasting are possible. It's also possible to redraw it, remove zones or combine several cards together. You can propose up to 3 cards.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

An edition with all the selected works will be offered to you. In addition, selected cards will be edited and offered to all participants.

Limited-edition card sets are also available for purchase. 

Open to the public with free access:

Opening on Wednesday, October 30, 2pm-10pm
Collector's card market on the weekend of November 8 and 9 
Meeting around the card collection on November 13: presentation to the public of the artists' works on live instagram
Finissage on November 27, 2-9pm

Visits by appointment outside events.

The hanging is done by the association's team.

Conditions for participation in the exhibition:

To apply, please fill in this form. We use instagram for the selection process. We look at your various creations and the evolution of your work! The final piece doesn't have to be on your account, and you don't have to have made cards before. 

If you're selected to take part in the exhibition, you'll need to join our association (30 euros per year).
Secondly, if you are selected, you can send us an image of your work online, but we prefer original physical works. 

All proceeds from sales of the cards we publish will go to support the association.

The association takes 30% of the sale of artwork and original cards.
