Food Art/ Special Edition

We are pleased to announce our next Special Edition, 'Food Art.' 

​

Explore food as nourishment, ritual, memory, identity, pleasure, or protest. Whether delicious, playful, nostalgic, or thought-provoking, we are looking for artworks that transform everyday ingredients and culinary moments into visual storytelling.

​

This open call invites artists working in various media, including painting, drawing, collage, installation, illustration, photography, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, assemblage, fiber art, paper art, printmaking, 3D digital art, glass art, metalwork, and more.

​

Open to artists worldwide,  aged 18 and above.​

​

Each selected artist will receive a 2-6 page spread in print and digital magazines, including a biography, statement, interview, website, and 2-10 featured artworks. All published artists will receive a complimentary digital issue of the magazine, which will be promoted on our website/social media. In addition, you will receive the link for ordering the printed magazine. 

Moreover, the curatorial team will select a few exceptional artists for inclusion in their upcoming book edition titled '101 Contemporary Artists and More...'

Requirements for the submission:  

Up to 12 photos (min. 300 dpi, JPEG/TIFF format), details of the work (title, medium, size, year), brief biography, artist statement (min 100 words each), website, and social media links.  

Deadline: December 21, 2025

Application Fee: No Fee  

The participation fee is 25 EUR (in case of acceptance)
