The Power of the Portrait

Collect art is looking for artists, working in different media, such as painting, drawing, textile, illustration, mixed media, photography, collage, and digital art.

Eligibility: Open to all nationalities and any aged 18 and above.

The theme for the edition is The Power of the Portrait.

An exhibition and special edition of the magazine, focused solely on the art of portraiture. Showcasing a variety of styles and subjects, this collection explores the human desire to capture and reflect upon the face and form of another.

​Selected artists will have the privilege of being showcased in a month-long online exhibition and will receive a 2-6 page spread in both print and digital magazines. This feature will encompass a biography, artist statement, interview, website link, and 2-10 featured artworks. Moreover, all published artists will receive a complimentary digital issue of the magazine, which will be actively promoted on our website and social media platforms. Additionally, artists will be provided with a link to order the printed version of the magazine.

Moreover, the curatorial team will select a few exceptional artists for inclusion in their upcoming book edition titled '101 Contemporary Artists and More...'

Requirements for the submission:  up to 12 photos (min. 300 dpi, JPEG/TIFF format), details of the work (title, medium, size, year), brief biography, artist statement (min 100 words each), website, and social media links.
