Discover Luisa Catucci Gallery’s Artist Residency Program, offering a selective opportunity for artists to deepen their practice and engage with Berlin’s vibrant art scene. The program accommodates only two artists at a time, in the LCG_ARTLAB in the hype Schillerkiez-Neukölln Berlin area, ensuring a focused and tailored experience.
In the case of artist duos, the number of participants may increase to a maximum of four (two per room)

Applications are open for residencies lasting between 1 and 6 months, depending on the artist’s needs.

LIVE AND WORK PROGRAM

Monthly Fee: €1400
Booking fee/deposit: €1000

!!! We understand how challenging it can be to privately finance a residency.

The booking fee will not be refunded in case of cancellation by the artist. It will also serve as a deposit for possible damages and will be reimbursed only at the end of the residency, provided no damages have occurred.

What’s included in the residency fee:

  • A furnished live/work studio with space for living and working.
  • High-speed internet.
  • Shared facilities:
    Bathroom with bathtub/shower.
    Kitchenette.
  • Portfolio review with the gallery director.
  • Artist profile featured on the LCG_ARTLAB website.
  • A critical text written by the Gallery Director and Curator.
  • Weekly studio visits and critiques with the Resident Curator, plus at least one session with an External Curator.
  • Two guided tours per month with the gallery team to major galleries and museums in Berlin.
  • Invitations to private gallery events during the residency period.
  • Updates on art events and openings in Berlin.
  • Advice and support for sourcing professional artist materials and supplies.
  • Weekly cleaning of shared spaces.
  • 1 weekend Open Studios

Additional benefits for residencies of at least 2 months:

  • All the above.
  • Website and content analysis.
  • Creation of a digital Artist Dossier presentation, designed to be modifiable by the artist in the future.
  • Support for writing an artist statement and biography.
  • A weekend closing exhibition (Opening on Friday evening) in the showroom of the LCG_ARTLAB, including an Artist Talk.
  • Photo documentation of the exhibition

Additional benefits for residencies of at least 3 months:

  • All the above.
  • A written interview for professional use, published on the LCG_ARTLAB website.
  • A video interview for the artist’s portfolio, also published on Luisa Catucci Gallery’ Youtube channel, and on LCG_ARTLAB’ social media and website.
