"Revival" Group Art Exhibition

The term “revival” seems so familiar. What does it mean though? Returning to life or consciousness, health or popularity? Bringing or coming back into use, attention, or being, after a decline? Restoration to use, acceptance, activity, or vigor after a period of obscurity or quiescence? New presentation of something? Renewed interest in something after indifference or decline? Reawakening of something? Reanimation from a state of langour or depression? Renewed pursuit or flourishing state of something? Renewed prevalence of something, as a practice or a fashion?

Are humans who need it? Is it nature? Is it a great idea that has been forgotten? Is society in decline? Is it the power that has been lost? Is it Culture; The arts? The values; The feelings; The strong will for something?

This exhibition invites artists to present their own perspective, their own “revival”. About how they perceive a term so familiar but also so distant, especially in an era when everything is catalyzed and everything is recreated and flourished “so easily”.
