Open call - Artist feature (international)

Artists interested in being featured are invited to review the information and requirements below and submit their application through the submission link provided.

Selected artists will be featured through curated articles on the Platinum Worm website. All features are permanently presented as part of our ongoing editorial program. In addition, selected features may be considered for inclusion in our annual art yearbook with registered ISBN numbers.

Each selected feature includes a professionally edited article presenting the artist’s practice and creative background, as well as presentation on Platinum Worm’s official platforms. To ensure accuracy and authenticity, artists will receive a tailored questionnaire focusing on their creative process and visual language. All final content will be shared with the artist for review and approval prior to publication.

Artists aged 18 and above from all countries are eligible to participate.

Fees

There is no entry fee or participation fee.

Eligibility and Media

Applicants are encouraged to submit works in diverse media, including but not limited to:

Painting, Drawing and sketching, Sculpture, Ceramics, Printmaking, Photography, Textiles, Installation, Digital art, Mixed media, Film and video, Performance based work.

For time-based or performance works, please submit video files or provide viewing links.

Required Materials

• Artists may submit up to 5 individual works

• Image requirements
JPEG or JPG format, 300 dpi, Maximum file size 10 MB per image, 

File naming format: Name_Title_Medium_Year

• Accepted video formats
MOV, MP4, WMV, Video links are also accepted

​

• Biography
Written in the third person
Maximum 300 words

​

• Artist Statement
Maximum 300 words

​

• High-resolution portrait or headshot

•  Please respond to each question with at least two sentences. There is no word limit. We encourage artists to take this opportunity to express their ideas, perspectives, and experiences openly.

Selection and Publication

• Selected artists will be notified via email

​

• Selected artists will be featured through curated articles published on the Platinum Worm website.

• All features are part of Platinum Worm’s ongoing editorial program and will remain permanently accessible online.

• Before publication, selected artists will receive the feature article for review and confirmation.

• Minor edits may be requested at this stage to ensure accuracy and clarity.

• Platinum Worm reserves the right to edit content for length, structure, and consistency while preserving the artist’s original voice.

• Selected features may be considered for inclusion in Platinum Worm’s annual art yearbook with registered ISBN numbers.

Timeline
The review panel convenes at the end of each month to evaluate submissions. Selected artists will be notified by email within 1–2 weeks following the review. The editorial team then requires approximately 1–2 weeks to prepare the draft feature article, which will be shared with the artist for review and confirmation. Upon final approval, the feature will be scheduled for publication.
