28th NO DEAD ARTISTS: International Juried Exhibition

FERRARA SHOWMAN GALLERY is accepting artist submissions for the 28th Annual NO DEAD ARTISTS International Juried Exhibition. NO DEAD ARTISTS has been a springboard for numerous artists leading to national press coverage, recognition, gallery representation and acquisitions by museums and other prominent collections. The call is INTERNATIONAL and open to artists of all ages, emerging and established. ALL MEDIUMS ARE ACCEPTED.

Each year the gallery invites a panel of renowned arts professionals and collectors to select the newest creative talents. 

2024 JURORS:

KATE CHERTAVIAN – Cambridge, MA - An internationally recognized art consultant, Kate has over 25 years of experience curating independent projects and building private collections. She built and curated David Bowie’s art collection from 1992 to 2000 and has subsequently built important collections in her fields of expertise. 

TOCCARRA THOMAS – New Orleans, LA - Toccarra is a nonprofit arts professional with experience spanning community-based cultural programming, artist services, and nonprofit operations. Thomas has served in many capacities within organizations of varying sizes, facilitating opportunities for individuals and communities to access resources that contribute towards a more inclusive, connected, and culturally-rich future.

KATE SCHEIN WAISMAN – Larchmont, NY - Kate has been working in the museum field for over 25 years as both an exhibition developer and museum educator. Her background is in arts education, creating and conducting innovative arts programs both in classrooms and museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New Orleans Museum of Art, and the Jewish Museum.
