ART4T CALL FOR ARTISTS

ART4T is calling young European emerging artists to apply for a non-formal training programme based on the co-creation, together with three internationally renowned artists, of new works to be produced and exhibited during BAM Biennale Arcipelago Mediterraneo.

Art Rethinks Transformation for Training (ART4T) seeks twelve emerging artists for a non-formal professional training program based on sharing the creation process. 

To lead the work and collaborate in the production, ART4T calls three internationally renowned artists: Egle Oddo, Gry Worre Hallberg and Başak Şenova. They have the task of involving the selected young artists in production-oriented learning activities, based on a shared creative process and on the experimentation of new models and tools.

The artistic production will be presented at the next edition of BAM - Biennale Arcipelago Mediterraneo, scheduled in Palermo starting from September 2022. For young artists it will be an opportunity to enter the international artistic working world and consolidate their own creative network.

ART4T is:

- 20 emerging artists aged 18/35

- 3 internationally renowned artists - Egle Oddo, Gry Worre Hallberg, Basak Senova 

- 3 trainings sessions – online, in Palermo at BAM, in Copenhagen at Sisters Hope 

- 1 opportunity to share the production with the international art world during BAM

Funded by the European Union, ART4T is conceived and promoted by MeNO (Italy) in partnership with Aarhus University (Denmark).

ART4T was born from the belief that art is the result of a collective and collaborative confrontation of the artists with each other and with others and from the encounter of different cultural heritages and social living contexts. Based on this, ART4T explores innovative non-formal training methodologies in the field of interdisciplinary contemporary art, based on sharing the process of artistic creation between teachers and learners.
