WATER PATH: ON THE TRAIL OF GREAT MOTHER

The 4th edition of BAROQUE BLUE returns in September 2025, confirming and strengthening the event’s role as an essential event for the enhancement of contemporary art in a scenario that is renewed in each edition. The project – produced by Primo Piano LivinGallery and curated by Dores Sacquegna, testifies to the success and continuity of the project, which has been welcomed with great participation by the local community and cultural operators in the area who actively collaborate on the program. PPLG welcomes international artists invited to leave their mark by being inspired and contaminated by the social and landscape place of Salento. It offers , also, the opportunity to interact with local artists and observe the creative process live, bringing the public closer to contemporary art to experience art in a fascinating context during the summer.
The artists will be in residency at a private villa facing the sea in Torre dell’Orso marina. We provide residents housing, guided tours and excursions, materials to work with, meals, workshops and much more. The works created will be presented to the public during the final ceremony of Thanksgiving to Mother Earth.

SALENTO – Our Puglia region and Salento Peninsula is surrounded by ancient legends and breathtaking turquoise waters, encourages you to get in touch with your inner archetype, and explore your creative boundaries and overcome artistic fears. This trip is not only about creating artwork, but also about unleashing your potential, which will lead you from inspiration to expressive works, while creating lasting friendships and memories in a treasured artistic community.

With WATER PATH: On the trail of Great Mother , we will explore the symbolic connection between human beings and water, to reconnect with one's inner guides in the land of myths. We will follow the archaic trails of the great mother. Every day you can relax by the sea, take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of this Blue Flag area, and explore places as botanical gardens, parks, neolithic grottoes, pajare, liame, trulli, and masseries, but also, we go geo-trekking in magical places to discover the Tree of Life, megalithic monuments, oil hypogea in the basements of historic villages.
