Artists of all nationalities are invited to submit their works.
The second International Exhibition of Virtual Contemporary Art, ‘ART FOR THE PLANET’, held by the Venezia Open Art Association, will open in Venice on 21 June 2025.
THE EXHIBITION IS VIRTUAL
The works of the artists selected for the virtual exhibition will be projected in the exhibition space of Venezia Open Art in the historic centre of Venice
THE THEME IS FREE
But works focusing on environmental issues will be welcome, demonstrating how art itself can contribute to reducing environmental impact through sustainable practices by stimulating awareness of climate change.
ALL TYPES OF VISUAL ART WORKS ARE ALLOWED
INCLUDING SMALL VIDEOS OR REELS
DATES OF THE EXHIBITION
from 21 June to 20 July 2025
The event will be part of the programme of ART NIGHT VENEZIA
the 14th edition of the inimitable white night of culture, conceived and coordinated by Ca' Foscari University in collaboration with the Municipality of Venice and the Veneto Region.
PARTICIPATION FEE
Only artists selected for the exhibition will be asked to pay a fee of € 50.
WHY APPLY?
-Screen projection of the works inside the exhibition space in the historic centre of Venice
-exhibition set-up and curatorship
-Inauguration
-Documentation of the exhibition (photographs, videos)
-Video and works on Social Media
-Works advertised on the Venezia Open Art website
-Diffusion and press releases of the exhibitions and events will be promoted on newspapers, networks, websites and contemporary art magazines.
-Video of the exhibition accessible to all through the Venezia Open Art website.
-Event scheduled with Art Night
