Panorámica, International Independent Film Festival

The biggest independent film festival in México, now in its seventh edition!

Panorámica, International Independent Film Festival invites students of cinema, visual arts and communication, independent filmmakers, amateurs and professionals, from all around the world, to participate in PANORÁMICA 7th Edition 2020, which will be screened in several venues in Mexico City.

Panorámica is a spot for the promotion and display of cinematographic works. This event is a non-profit organisation, and its main priority is the independent cinema created by emerging filmmakers from all over the world.

The main aim of the Festival is to provide to new filmmakers the possibility of making their works widely known, and thus to facilitate a dialogue between the author and its audience. In order to make this happen, Panorámica will conduct Q&A sessions between the author, the festival’s crew/cast and the audience; these sessions will take place during the Festival.

We recognize the filmmakers' work by giving them a certificate for their participation. There will not be a physical or monetary award.

Opel call for entries: february 1st to July 19th.
Notification day: August 16th.
To be screened on October.

Panorámica, Muestra Internacional de Cine Independiente convoca a estudiantes de cine, artes visuales, comunicación y carreras afines, así como cineastas independientes, amateurs y profesionales, de todo el mundo, a participar en su Séptima Edición 2020, la cual se llevará a cabo en diversas sedes de la República Mexicana.

Panorámica es un espacio para el apoyo, la difusión y la exhibición de obras cinematográficas; es presentada como un medio sin fines de lucro y su prioridad es el cine independiente realizado por creadores emergentes alrededor del mundo.

Las películas que se presentan no participan por ningún premio o remuneración económica, ya que el objetivo primordial de la Muestra es brindar la posibilidad a nuevos realizadores de dar a conocer su trabajo, así como ofrecer un diálogo entre el autor y el espectador; para poder llevarlo a cabo, Panorámica realiza sesiones de Q&A entre el cineasta y parte de su equipo con la audiencia asistente; así como conferencias y mesas de debate sobre distintos temas de interés, contando con invitados especiales expertos en la cinematografía universal.

Convocatoria abierta del 1° de febrero al 19 de julio (contando con tres etapas).
Notificando a los seleccionados el día 16 de agosto.
Para proyectarse durante el mes de octubre del 2020.
