AIR_MCUBE is One to three months International residency program organized by the Gallery Mcube in Nepal, for the artist potential in working for various visual art practices like painting, printing, sculpture, installation, performance art, multi-media etc. Artists, writers, photographer, media artists, sound artists and composers can apply for this residency program.

As part of AIR_MCUBE International residency program, there will be presentation sessions, interaction sessions, and critic sessions. It will be concluded by Open house exhibitions. It is not for profit residency program hosted by Gallery Mcube since 2011.

Artist  will be provided private room, shared studio space, kitchen, bathroom, multimedia room, resources, laundry machine and a garden area within the premises of the Gallery. For artists applying for grants and scholarships in their home country, Gallery Mcube can provide official documents and letters of invitation.

• Studio Accomodation Space
• Free Gallery Space with basic reception
• Cultural tours with in Kathmandu Valley
• Studio visit
• Workshop with community kids/ adults
• During the residency period, gallery will host interaction with media personals for the coverage of the artists in Nepali newspapers and online news
• Electricity, Gas, Wi-Fi

Paid by artist

• Residency program fee $600/month per
• Airport pickup and drop
• Expenses of food, personal supplies, art materials, the transportation costs and any other space outside the gallery.
• If someone wants to stay less than a month will have to pay gallery rent.
• Mcube can arrange cultural tour, trekking or hiking guide outside Kathmandu Valley if artist is interested. Artist needs to bare the responsible of the additional expenditure.
