Loop / Scroll - A Digital Showcase of Evolving Creative Perspectives

Unbound (UNBD) is a contemporary art space in the heart of Seoul, dedicated to supporting artists through exhibitions and collaborative projects. UNBD hosts in-person exhibitions and events while also extending its reach through international online open calls that invite global artists to participate and present their work in our digital programs.

By offering the conditions to explore possibilities and bring ideas to life, UNBD provides artists with direct access to cultural resources, knowledge, and diverse artistic practices. Located in a dynamic urban environment, the gallery fosters cross-pollination of ideas across disciplines, encouraging experimentation and unique collaborations. Through its physical space and online initiatives, UNBD positions itself as a platform where emerging and established artists alike can connect, innovate, and share their practices with a wider audience.

Open Call: “Loop / Scroll  - A Digital Showcase of –  A Digital Showcase of Evolving Creative Perspectives”

We are pleased invite artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to participate in Loop / Scroll, the inaugural online exhibition hosted by UNBD. This online exhibition aims to gather diverse perspectives and voices, creating a space where unique artistic visions can meet and resonate on the digital screen.

“Loop / Scroll” provides an online platform for artists working across various mediums to experiment with new modes of perception through digital exhibition. What is commonly seen as a movement on the screen can also be understood as the painter’s process — the repeated gestures of layering color and time. This project moves beyond the notion of a simple online experience, inviting us to reconsider the boundaries between screen and painting, image and movement.

Unbound looks forward to works in which artists explore their own practices through the sensibilities of ‘loop’ and ‘scroll.’ We warmly welcome your participation. Through this open theme, we hope to highlight the immediacy of contemporary expression — works that capture the moments, emotions, and ideas shaping our present.

Exhibition Platform – NEMO
All selected works will be displayed in NEMO, a dedicated online exhibition space created on our website. Artists’ works will be digitally installed and showcased in this unique virtual environment.
