Fragments of Daily Life

Unbound (UNBD) is a contemporary art space in the heart of Seoul, dedicated to supporting artists through exhibitions and collaborative projects. UNBD hosts in-person exhibitions and events while also extending its reach through international online open calls that invite global artists to participate and present their work in our digital programs.

By offering the conditions to explore possibilities and bring ideas to life, UNBD provides artists with direct access to cultural resources, knowledge, and diverse artistic practices. Located in a dynamic urban environment, the gallery fosters cross-pollination of ideas across disciplines, encouraging experimentation and unique collaborations. Through its physical space and online initiatives, UNBD positions itself as a platform where emerging and established artists alike can connect, innovate, and share their practices with a wider audience.

Open Call: Fragments of Daily Life

  We are pleased to invite artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to participate in Fragments of Daily Life, an online exhibition presented by UNBD. This open call aims to gather diverse perspectives and voices, creating a space where distinct artistic visions can meet and resonate on the digital screen.

The Fragments of Daily Life open call originates from the intention to discover works by artists from around the world and to bring together different fragments that emerge from each artist’s daily life into a shared scene. By presenting works created across different time zones and locations side by side within an online space, this exhibition seeks to create a platform where contemporary emotions and perspectives can be experienced collectively.

This open call places no restrictions on medium or format. Drawings, videos, fragments of paintings, as well as experimental works that reveal artistic processes are all welcome. We look forward to works that focus on the emotions, thoughts, or recurring ways of seeing that artists are most honestly engaging with in the present moment.

Exhibition Platform – NEMO

All selected works will be presented on NEMO, a dedicated online exhibition platform hosted on our website. Artists’ works will be digitally installed and showcased within this unique virtual environment.
