Wells Art Contemporary 2022 - Call for Entries

Wells Art Contemporary is an international competition giving artists the unique opportunity to exhibit in Wells Cathedral, Somerset.
There are two ways in which artists can take part: either exhibiting artworks in the Cathedral cloisters and/or creating installations within the Cathedral and its grounds.
Artists also have the chance to show their work to a prestigious panel of selectors: Artist Support Pledge founder and artist Matthew Burrows; contemporary painter Dale Lewis; and artist-printmaker Nana Shiomi.
All shortlisted artists will be in the running to win generous prizes, including several cash prizes, a residency in Provence, France, one-on-one mentoring, and more.
The competition is open to all artists over the age of 18, working around the world in all mediums and styles. The entry fee is £15 per work or £10 per work for current fine art students aged under 26.
